Making a home in a classroom
A couple living in a classroom of a former schoolbuilding needed more living space. Mezzanines were added – taking advantage of the high ceilings. A walk-in cupboard and a kitchen cupboard under the mezzanine form a little entrance. An extra level above the hallway outside makes space for a cosy bedroom. An en suite bathroom was added directly above the existing bathroom.
